HIRZBERG CAMPING

Ideally situated among green hills our site is only 1.2 km away from the heart of the romantic old city centre of Freiburg. From Hirzberg Camping it is a short distance to the beautiful mountains of the Black Forest, either by bike, train or car. You have direct access to hiking and mountain biking trails. A lovely bike lane leads along the river "Dreisam". There is a bus stop next to the campsite and a nearby tram stop (5 mins walk).

Our Campground:

Hirzberg Camping is a small and quiet campground with meadows and about 85 sites with electric hook-ups for caravans, motorhomes and tents. All our staff is English speaking.

In our modern building with heated toilet and shower block there are free hot showers, the chemical disposal point, a kitchen for cooking and dish washing, and a launderette with washing machine and tumble dryer.

In our reception we offer you a wide selection of free brochures on local attractions and maps with suggested routes for hiking or biking.

In our little café you may enjoy in summer our breakfast buffet or treat yourself with our coffee/tea specials and cake. In the store we provide a small stock of food and camping utensils all year round.

The restaurant "Zum Stahl" next door to our site with its shady, popular beer garden offers various dishes and drinks. It is the place to relax at the end of the day.

In summer rental tents and bikes can be hired. We offer rental caravans of different sizes and categories all year round.

Well behaved dogs are welcome.
