To The West

To the amazing vineyard hills of the "Kaiserstuhl" in 20 minutes with their romantic villages Burkheim, Ihringen, Oberrotweil, Breisach, Endingen.
Here you find not only great wines but also some of the best restaurants of the area.
Or a short trip across the Rhine River bridge to Colmar, with its old center, the Museum with the wold famous "Isenheimer Altar".
North of Colmar you can visit the picturesque towns of Ribeauvillé and Riquewihr.

To The North

Spend a beautiful day in Strassburg (74 km) France, or take your family to the Europapark in Rust (39 km) awarded many times the Best Park in Europe.

To The South

Through the hilly vineyard-slopes of the Markgräfler Land, with its famous Gutedel White Wine, down to the lovely towns of Bad Krotzingen, Badenweiler and Bad Bellingen with their hot Spas and on to the swiss border town Bad Säckingen.
Or a day's visit to the Rhine Waterfalls of Schaffhausen and to the cities of Basel or Zurich in Switzerland.

To The East

There is superb walking or mountain-biking into the Black Forest, starting from right above our camp ground or you take a train, bus or your car for an amazing drive through the Black Forest with its spectacular scenery, its stunning lake Titisee, its mountains and green valleys. There is Triberg Waterfall, Furtwangen with its Cuckoo Clocks and of couse you should not miss the many cafés on your way to try out the real Black Forest Cake.
